Maine Event Comedy presents hilarious Los Angeles transplant Brian Brinegar at Baxter Brewing, Friday, November 17 at 7 p.m. The show will also feature Massachusetts comics Joe Flynn, Arty Przychodzki, and Janet McNamara; and Portland’s Danny Jordan.
Now residing in Gorham, Brinegar was thrice named Maine’s Best Comedian by the Portland Phoenix. He’s worked with Last Comic Standing winner Iliza Shlesinger and was featured on the Comedy Time Network. He’s also performed at the world famous Comedy Store in Los Angeles, the Ice House in Pasadena, and played the bartender in Toby Keith’s “I Love This Bar” music video.
Flynn, a likable curmudgeon from Salem, Mass., recently performed at Comix at Mohegan Sun. He’s a two-time finalist in New England’s Best Bar Comic Contest and a runner-up in the Witch City Comedy Competition.
Along with discouraging anyone from trying to pronounce his last name, Przychodzki is one of the hardest workers in the Boston scene. He was a Comic in Residence at The Comedy Studio and hosts Comedy Night at The Burren in Somerville.
McNamara, also from Boston, has been winning over New England audiences with her conversational style and awkwardly charming energy. She won the 2014 BeanTown Comedy Riots and appeared on season 10 of NBC’s American Idol.
Barely old enough to enjoy a Baxter brew, Jordan has delighted and intrigued audiences young and old alike. He’s played The Comedy Studio, Boston improv, and Portland’s Gold Room.
The show is free and for ages 21-and-older. Baxter Brewing is located at 130 Mill Street, Lewiston. FMI call 207-513-0742 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
